The HELSINKY model jacket is the result of a careful study carried out with the goal of providing high comfort even in adverse climatic conditions and in rigid temperatures by being inspired by materials and technical solutions normally used in the mountaineering field. Double down-proof inner lining The piece has a double down-proof inner lining with overlapping seams to avoid heat exchange therefore reducing thermal bridges. This technology makes it possible to significantly increase the insulation of the article creating an additional air chamber between the two down-proof inner linings bringing the jacket’s insulation to maximum levels. Outer fabric The waterproof and breathable outer fabric, in addition to allowing the humidity normally generated by the body to be released, creates a windproof barrier. Heat chamber The knit cuffs at the end of the sleeves and the drawstring on the inside of the jacket create a heat chamber that, fostered by the heat of the body, once the jacket is worn is not dispersed to the outside. Pockets The pockets at the chest make it possible to insert the hands between the two layers of down-proof lining avoiding therefore direct contact with the comfort zone preserving the insulation and creating an isolated and protected area for the hands. Hood The outer, waterproof and breathable hood is paired on the inside with a padded, detachable, down hood that creates a micro-climate suitable to protect the head. The down hood combined with a jabot, also padded, further protects the front part of the piece from the cold. Front flap The front zip is covered with a padded, double fabric flap which creates a protective barrier and does not allow heat to be released.
